Twin Baby Shot

We tried to take the twin baby set's picture today with our horrible digital camera and it was a miserable experience for all. Does your digital camera have a delay when you push the button to take a picture? This is exasperating with fraternal twins. It's impossible to keep twin twin babies still, let get them to smile at the same time for more than a milli-second, so when the digital camera doesn't respond immediately, it's impossible to get a descent twin baby shot.

I'll post the picture we're going to use, but I'm definitely not happy with it. They look like deer in headlights. What do you think?

Oh, we're buying a new digital camera for Christmas!

Fraternal Twins have Pink Eye

The twin baby set seems to be dealing with a case of pink eye. The twin sister had it last week, but I really didn’t think it was pink eye until the twin baby boy showed signs of it last night. We ordered some pink eye relief drops from the twin twin store.

I thought pink eye was much worse than this: the fraternal twins seem tired, and the area on their eyelids, around the eyes, is red with guppies. It’s worse after they wake up since the guppies seem more excessive and are dried up, almost keeping their eyes shut.

The twin sister isn’t showing any symptoms today, but the twin baby boy ‘s eye is still red, just the left one.

We had plans to have some friends over today: a set of fraternal twins born just six weeks after our twins, and their mom of course, were going to come over to play and eat lunch, but I called them last night to let them know about the baby boy’s eyes, and they decided not to come. I was sure that would be the outcome.

Twin Baby Hurts Leg in Carseat Carrier

Yesterday, the twin baby boy injured his leg because he's gotten too big for the carseat carrier, the one that snaps into the car base. His legs are too long, so when the twin twin father put the carrier into the base, the twin baby 's leg was turned just the wrong way. He cried only for a second or two, and we checked his legs to make sure they weren't broken.

So I went out and bought carseats today. It is for 22-100 pound children, and we're not supposed to use them until they're one-year-old, so what do we do? Do we wait to use the new carseats until the end of Jan when they are one and risk hurting their legs again?
I decided we need to use the new carseats so I put an ad up on craigslist for the carriers.

Twin Baby Boy Falls while Strapped in Bouncer

The twin baby boy had a mishap in the bouncers (bouncy chairs) this morning. The twin twin father fed the fraternal twins and afterward, he put them in the bouncers (bouncy chairs) to give them a few moments for their stomachs to settle before crawling around.

Yes, he strapped them into the bouncers (bouncy chairs) and while the twin sister sat contently watching The Wiggles, the twin boy decided to sit up instead of leaning back. Now everything from here is speculation on my part, but I will tell you that I warned the twin twin father not to leave them unattended in those bouncers (bouncy chairs) - even strapped in – because they’re just getting too big. Anyway, the father says he went downstairs to rinse the bottles.

I heard the twin baby boy screaming – and it wasn’t an “I want out scream.” It was an “I’m hurt or in trouble” scream. Fortunately, I was just across the hall, and when I got to the playroom, the twin baby boy was upside down with his head under the bouncers (bouncy chairs) and he was still strapped to the thing.

These bouncers (bouncy chairs) have been great, but there comes a point when the twin baby set is just too big.

Has this happened to your fraternal twins or twin baby set?

Twin Baby Left out in the Snow

Today it’s snowing out, and we’re expecting to get about 12 inches. The twin baby set needs snowsuits - I guess we should have thought of that before now. I thought we could just wrap them in blankets, but what about their heads?

The twin twin father will want to take the fraternal twins outside in the snow, but the twin sister would quickly come out of her blanket since she is constantly on the move, and what if something happened to one of the fraternal twins, and we had to rush in the house, and left one twin baby outside without being in snowsuits - that could be a bad thing.

So today, before we plan to go outside, I’m going to MY STORE ONLINE to order the snowsuits

Do you think it will be okay to take them out in blankets before the snowsuits arrive?
