Twin Baby Costumes

See twin baby costume

The twin baby set had its first Halloween. The twin girl was a pumpkin; the twin boy was a pumpkin as well. In fact, they wore the same twin baby costume. I had only one costume that a friend gave me, so I dressed the twin boy in it first and took his picture, then I dressed the twin girl in the same costume and took her picture. After I got a few good ones of each, I “photoshop’d” the fraternal twins ‘ pictures together, so now it looks like the twin twin s are together. I draped a black sheet over the stair banister, and that made it much easier to put the twin twin pictures together.

The costume was a bit tight on the twin boy, but it fit the twin girl just fine. In case you’re wondering, the twin boy is on the left. The twin baby girl looks a bit like a baby boy.

We didn’t have many trick-or-treaters, which was probably good since I could dress only one of the fraternal twins in a costume.

Twin Baby Shakes

The twin baby girl and twin baby boy are now able to hold their own bottles. I think they could have sooner, but the dad and I just didn’t think to let them try. It wasn’t until the fraternal twin s’ fraternal grandfather asked, “When will these twins hold their own bottles?” that we actually thought to let them try, and they did it well the first time.
More photos.

The twin boy actually held his better at first, and the twin girl just liked to shake the bottle to watch the milk fly. The twin twin boy likes to watch his twin sister do that.

Now, we’re able to put them on the couch with their bottles while they drink. We can’t leave the room, since they could fall off the couch, but it’s a step toward progress, right?

Twin Baby Drinks Coffee

The twin girl loves to act like she’s drinking coffee from a cup. Both the fraternal twins are able to use their sippy cups, but the twin girl just wants to drink from a cup or water bottle all the time.

The twin baby boy has no interest in trying to drink from a cup, except he does like to chew on his sippy cup edge.

I’m not sure when the fraternal twins will transition from the bottle to sippy cup, but we are trying to expose them more to the sippy cup.

Here she is with my coffee cup. No, the twin baby is not actually drinking coffee, but it is a funny shot.

What would you do for your morning cup?
