Twin Boy Found in Snow

We finally had to leave Arizona and come home to Chicago. Oh, I hate the cold here, and we were greeted with 6 inches of snow!

This was the first snow for the twin set...or at least the first snow they were able to play in. Last year when they were born 5.5 weeks early, they certainly couldn't be taken out in bad weather. Here's a picture of them from the NICU.

We had to buy snow suits for the twin girl and twin boy to go out in the snow! Lots of fun out in the cold weather if they have on the snow pants too. I personally prefer the separate snow pants and coat since you can change diapers easily--and you can use the pants/coat separately, if needed. And the water-proof type are the best!

The Twin twin dad took the twin set out to play in the snow, and he made an igloo for them. They started playing, and we found the twin boy in the igloo. Unlike their mother, they seem to love the snow...

It was pretty funny when the twin girl kept falling backward in the snow; I'll try to include a video link.

Twin Girl Left Out in Rain

We've been in Phoenix now for 4 weeks, and I love it! I would give almost anything to live here during the winter. The twin twin set seems to enjoy it too. We go for a walk every day; most days it's 65-70 degrees F. We brought out stroller and it's a good thing! I really like it.

The one thing I hadn't anticipated was the rain. It has rained at least 2-3 days each week we've been here. One day, it started pouring and we didn't make it back in time. I was pulling the twin boy out and running into the house, but the twin girls was left out in the rain for the time it took me to get the twin baby boy inside. She thought it was fun!

We're going home next week, so I'm already dreading it...
